What's New
The following features and enhancements are included in version 6.5 of the NowForce platform:
Unified Chat and PTT Recording Log
Incident Chat and Incident PTT chat are now a single, synchronized log. Push-to-talk voice recordings appear inline with text messages in the incident record, so dispatchers and reviewers see the complete conversation in one place — no need to switch views or stitch timelines together after the fact.
Chat History on Mobile
PTT recordings have moved to the new chat engine. Mobile users can now scroll back through full chat history directly from their device, including voice messages they previously only had access to from the web.
Guard Force on Android
Guard Force is now available on the Android app, matching the iOS experience. Mixed-device teams no longer need to plan their workflow around platform gaps.
Note: For a feature refresher, see the version 6.3.5 update notes.
Smarter Location Tracking on Android
The Android app has a refined location-sampling mechanism that gives administrators finer control over accuracy, sampling frequency, and the resulting battery impact.
Note: Configuration details are in Mobile Location Settings.
SAML 2.0 Single Sign-On in Dispatcher
Dispatcher now supports SAML 2.0 single sign-on, so your team can sign in through Microsoft Entra ID.
- Users get one fewer password to manage.
- IT gets centralized provisioning and deprovisioning.
- The MFA and access policies you already enforce elsewhere now apply to Dispatcher automatically.
Continued Security Hardening
Security remains a top priority. Intellicene continues to run penetration tests on every release and act on vulnerabilities surfaced by testing — work that mostly happens behind the scenes but keeps your environment resilient.
